Welcome to Dark Star Art Company! I’m Kate, an artist/small-business owner based in Denton, Texas. I started Dark Star Art Company in 2023 as a way to share my art with others. I love to work in a variety of creative forms, such as laser engraving, painting, photography, and drawing. I enjoy working with unique textures and have found leather to be one of my favorite items to work with as each piece is truly one-of-a-kind and has it’s own character that it brings to the project.

I am inspired by music, nature, and the world around me. I enjoy live music, traveling, running, hiking, off-roading in my Jeep, camping, and I am always up for a good road trip!
